According to a York County Sheriff's report, a 16-year-old boy was driving along Highway 21 near Carowinds last Tuesday when a vehicle turned onto the road behind him. That's when the teen says the driver "activated a red and blue LED bar light" in the grill of their car.

The teen pulled off of the Highway near Regent Park.

According to the report, a York County sheriff's deputy was in the area for an unrelated traffic stop. When the driver saw the deputy, they "immediately turned off [the] light bar" and made a u-turn back onto Highway 21, the report states.

Deputies say the teen then followed the faux cop and saw the vehicle turn into Twin Lakes Mobile Home Park.

The vehicle was listed as a small, sports car type-vehicle, but the teen didn't get close enough to make out the exact make and model.
